Son Has Given me a load of old records to list, Not really my Field.
1 of them is a guns & Roses 7" Single "Since I Dont Have You"
Its Says its a Strictly Limited Orange Edition.
I have Been Listing Most of the Records at 49 - 99p.
Any advise on this 1 Please.

Hi Paul
Nothing in the Record Collector 2008, but Guns N Roses coloured vinyl are usually priced around £8-£10 for a mint copy. There's one listed over the other side for 99p and other web pages for around £5.

Which for a good to very good copy would be about fair price.

You could always take it to a local dealer to make sure, most will vaule records for nothing. and it's always best to to check.

Also ask Huddylion or Raindrospies2 both have the latest edition of Record Collector and would both be more then willing to help, might be something in theirs? Also check out the Record Collectors website.

Regards Tony

I've sold 2 on here back in November last year I think it was.

I tend to find that ones you think will fly out stay, and others that you think have no chance, sell quite quick.

I've no problem in helping with book prices, but in order to do so I'll need
a) Artist
b) record reference
c) Side A's song
d) p/s or no p/s (picture sleeve)

If it's a bigger artist, like elvis, cliff richard, status quo, queen, etc then the colour / style of the inner spindle bit (what is the techincal term for that)

Also the book price is for a MINT copy, and to determine your price you need to determine the quality. If you look at a vinyl listing in my vinyl store you will see the guide that I use. Feel free to C&P if you want.

So if your record is
Mint= book price
then deduct the following for various conditions
EX = 20% so a £100 becomes £80
VG = 50% £100 becomes £50
G = 70% £100 becomes £30
F = 85% £100 becomes £15
P = 92% £100 becomes £8
B = 97.5% £100 becomes £2.50

But bear in mind that the vinyls like anything else are only worth what someone is willing to pay.

To be in the book they need to be worth a minimum of
7" singles, maxi singles, cassettes singles, double packs & flexi disc = £5.00
78's = £6.00
10" singles £7.00
EP's, 12" singles, cassette EP's, and CD singles = £8.00
LP's = £12.00
Double LP's = £15.00
CD Albums = £18.00

Possibly, but the book has others in too, but they are few and far apart
