congratulations! I look forward to the t-shirt. Have waited a long time to get it (I have been trying since it has made it's appearance). And no, I didn't have my handbag full of bricks. It just needs to be filled with my normal contents(big grin)

Thank you Meebo. Seems so appropriate that you won the shirt. No one has given more to strengthen the eBid giving community. I am sure you will sponsor a worthy charity with the shirt.

Hi All,

I had an idea of the charity I wanted to select soon after YDC81 announcement of winner. I wanted to support a charity that worked with seriously ill children & their families in their greatest time of need. I have been reaching out to another well known health care organization; one selected in the past as recipient of YDC fundraising efforts, to do YDC82 fundraiser for program that targeted children.

But navigating through the red tape of organizational communications is not always feasible when dealing with short time frames. So, I identified another charity that focuses on seriously ill children & their families, within the USA & many other parts of the world. I have also had the priviledge of benefiting from their tremendous services @ The Ronald McDonald House, as a family member of a seriously ill child, when one of my nieces was hospitalized in a children's hospital located out of state. They provided the gracious gift of a home away from home to all of our family.

I have selected The Ronald McDonald House Charities as the nominated charity for YDC82. Their email addy is http://rmhc.org/

The link below gives a comprehensive view and an example of their world-wide initiatives in at least 52 countries.

http://rmhc.org/what-we-do/local-chapters-at-work/

Thank you in advance as I anticipate your support of this worthy charity in the upcoming YDC!

As much as I trust any country
