View Full Version : Problem with Seller-no goods no contact

Last year, 17 Dec 04, won auction by buy it now - item ACER 1353 Notepad. Up till 24 Dec 04 good communication via E-Mail, coincidentally until money cleared my account, then nothing. Sellers name and address posted on auction - feedback good to this point although one buyer did complain about how long it took to arrive.
This was probably my fault but because unable to upgrade card on PP credit card bill not arrived yet and the seller did not use PayPal I asked if would take payment by internet banking direct transfer to account. Answer was yes and bank account details were sent with a different name to that on the posted address? Made a few enquiries address on auction genuine. So sent money and waited for confirmation of payment and postage of item and waited. Gave it a bit of leeway since Xmas has a habit of screwing things up - nothing since.

Try seeing if he has any other auctions for sale and post a message on (one of) his auctions where everyone can see it asking when you will be receiving your item. They usually don't like this and respond in the next hour. Otherwise leave the appropiate feedback for him.

Why is it when I try to go for help on the above or through EBid.com HelpDesk I get dumped back to the front of the site with the US or UK flag icon selection.

I too need assistance in making sure that I'm not being scammed!!!
