I have registered today 16/12/2005 Friday for the offered free Gold membership but have only recieved a bronze.Can you explain?

I'm a subscriber to ComputerActive magazine, which states in the latest issue (issue 204) Dec/05, that if you join any Friday the Gold Membership is FREE for life. Yet I clicked on the Gold today (Friday) and it's £1.99 to join. NOT free afterall. Can you please explain, even if it is only £1.99

I'm not quite sure on that one :confused: your not the 1st to complain about that either.
Try emailing support@ebid.tv and asking them for a refund, could it be possible the mag made a mistake??
