My closed auctions are stuck and have been since at least 7.30pm last evening! I would like to be able to do my re-listings....
My ydc auction that ended last night is also stuck, so i can't send the invoice.
The way the site freezes and the length of time it's stuck for is becoming a joke.
Yeah, it's annoying for sellers not being able to get any work done but it's also losing us sales and members. How many hundreds of pages of stuck listings are buyers supposed to wade through before they find the live listings?
I've got a similar problem.
As my auctions end, say "auto-repost" 4 of 10, the "length of auction" is being set to ZERO days and they are not being "auto -reposted".
It's moving - slowly
My sold ydc aucton has now gone to the right place, but all my ending, unsold auctions are stuck.
They seem to be moving in small portions.
I'm not sure if this is the case this time, but this problem usually seems to occur when somebody with a very large number of listings is housekeeping.
Maybe the bulk upload level is set too high, it shouldn't be so high that one seller can impact the rest of the site in this way.
A further problem this causes is the "bunching up" of listings,
many of the large listers do their best to space their listings out, so a buyer is not faced by big blocks of listings from the same seller, when this database sticking occurs it destroys their hard efforts.
I've been wondering lately if it is feasible to have a sort of "Holding area" of the database where these very large uploads are placed, they can then be added to the main site in smaller more manageable batches.
Maybe an optional version for those who maybe don't have so many listings but would prefer them to be spaced out more timewise?
