I still hear Postcard Dealers and Collectors alike say that they have never heard of eBid!!!
Re: eBid in the Postcard World
It is not just Postcard Dealers and Collectors that have never heard of Ebid but the public in general, I'm sure small adverts placed from time to time would pay for themselves in new sellers and commissions from sales, I have been a member here for over twelve years and things have not changed, I like this site and would list a lot more here if there were only more sales, I have not made a sale here since 29th June while I have made over 150 sales elsewhere in the last two days so there is little point in my wasting my time listing here for nothing.

If you tell anyone you are listing on EBid they think you mean the other site. When you say "No I mean Ebid" They have never heard of it.
Re: eBid in the Postcard World
We make a point of saying Ebid to customers & if we get customers from else where alwys put a note in telling them about Ebid & have picked up quiet a few like that.
Re: eBid in the Postcard World
I already do that Pam and have done so for some time, also add links on sites where I can and I'm sure others do to, Ebid really needs to get known the the general public though.
Re: eBid in the Postcard World
I have a Facebook Page just for my EBid listings. I also use Pintersest - Google+ - Twitter. 75% of my listings go on. But they don,t bear any fruit.
Re: eBid in the Postcard World
I sell largely in the same areas - stamps & postcards and I'm doing around a sale per day - I hardly sell anywhere else but, when I do, I mention eBid. Like everyone else, I'd love some more promotion of eBid, of course, but, for me, sales are steady at worst and improving if I wear just slightly rose-tinted spectacles.
P.S. 9 items in the last 24 hours

It's a pity that they give the wrong address for eBid!!!
