We have spring - well, crocus, snowdrop & Cyclamen flowers with the daffs starting to show colour - but it is chucking it down! Not just rain but M&S rain!
My Camilla has five lovely bright pink flowers out on it already - and the blasted grass is growing again....
Spring and the bulbs start in May.
We ( Wisconsin, USA) normally have to wait until the end of May when it's safe from the last of the snow fall.
We had a few nice days starting in the 50's.
We had some mini rain storms with a rainbow.
Then, last night was the first for Wisconsin, USA to have a tornado.
Last night, I could see a wicked lightning storms going on in another county.
Just strange weather going on here.
Where we live, we're actually closer to France than we are to rest of the UK and our weather is normally very similar to that of Northern France, much more pleasant than some to other parts of the UK at times - it's a pleasantly mild day here again today just a bit overcast...
Ahhhhhh! That's got to be at least part of why Kent is so popular! I, as an American, never thought of that. Rainy here in Monmouth today....well....now it's stopped and mostly clouds are skittling by showing patches of blue sky here and there. A neighbor's plum tree is getting pink blossoms on it now....more every day, which I can see from the living room. I'm ready for spring
We have had several showers today, & some parts there is flooding again where its draining of off the fields, but it is nice to see spring flowers again around. seems we have to expect this for a few days, & then they are saying snow, we hope they can be wrong really, I can remember if it snowed you still went to school & as office junior wearing wellies as had to go out & do deliveries. to the medical agencys in the town, but now it seems that tings close very quickly.
We went from no snow to a yard full of snow again.
Windy and nippy.
But the neighbor's cat, Milo, has returned on a regular basis for food.
I guess I will have another summer with this cat.
Working on some old inventory that I had on eBay and getting it ready to list here.
Just getting the glassware and dishes in order before listing.
I did manage to get pictures taken before the snow fall of new items to list.
Now it's just the time to write the descriptions and getting them ready.
Sorry you have snow again Police they keep saying it may get as far south as us, but not so far. We were right on the edge of the rain yesterday &^ this morning went with a neighbour, to the charity place in the next village, she had some Glass wear to take there, so we went & had a nose around I ended up with 3 books but didn't find anything for resale, & so then we went out for a cuppa just for a change, & wondered through the nursery there as well, & & all the plants are really coming on lovely but suppose if one puts it out the warmer spell will; go, its nice suddenly to see everything sprouting
