Default Please Help!! I'm so confused about my listing!!

I'm new. I just listed my items last night. I'm a seller +. My two items are in the same category but are completely different items. One is a sanitizer/cleaner for soft-serve machines and the other is a sanitary lubricant for those machines. I listed each as a separete listing., with a buy it now price. I received a confirmation email saying that they are "dutch listings"????? I do not want them to be dutch listings, they are not the same product. I have got to fix this right away because they are live and I can not afford to sell them at dutch listing prices. I am very frustrated that I can't speak with anyone and get immediate help. I am so sorry to say this but on "e-you know who" I could use the online chat. I don't like the fact that I can't talk with anyone from eBid. I don't know what to do. I don't want to cancel and loose my seller + money but I cant let my listings stay on as "dutch". Can anyone please help me????

Hi grm and welcome to Ebid!

If you have multiples of the same item then that is considered a dutch auction. Both of your items have a quantity of 25 each. Is this correct?

The listings are completely separate, but you've said you have 25 of each item available. If that's true, the dutch auction bit means the people can bid to but multiple copies of each thing - it does NOT mean the two auctions are linked to each other.

If you have done that wrong and only have one of each thing for sale, you must close the items immediately and relist correctly.

    Does that help?

Thank you so much for getting back with me so quickly. I am panicking!!! I do have 25 of each item but I put a fixed buy it now price on my two listings. So I'm still confused. Can you please help me to understand?

Thank you for getting back with me so quickly! I'm in a panic! I still don't understand. Yes, I have 25 of each item. But I put a buy it now, fixed price on both listings. So, each of the 25 products per listing I sell must be at the buy it now price. Can you please help me to understand?

Just looked at the first one, and yes it's fixed price. Unfortunately ebid uses the phrase "dutch auction" very inaccurately! Any listing with multiple items is called a "dutch auction", even when it's not an auction. Panic not.

    Didn't think of that. I'm a tea-aholic.
