Been having a clearout of kitchen cupboards again and put some posts up on Freecycle/local Facebook selling groups last night - with a bit of luck, most of it will be gone by tonight !

Wet and windy here - got soaked going to the vets to pick up stuff for Badge. Got the heating on again to warm up

Wish we could get a nestbox put up, but there's just too many cats about ...................

Ours is high up on the wall of our house Private Mcc2 but is just by our kitchen window (we have an outside cellar/shed type room under our kitchen so really it is on the second floor from our garden) so we have a clear view of the birds flying in and out. I bought O/H a better nestbox camera last year so hopefully we will get a clearer view of what is happening inside this time. One chick died last year but three were successful and fledged.

Nestbox cam....great idea!! We have a pair rebuilding/refurbishing their nest under the roof tile on the porch. We can look down on them coming and going from the upstairs bedroom. Last year the pair was run ragged finding little green worms to feed the young. We could hear the babies, but missed seeing them launch! Maybe this year....

Hope to hear your landing gear is allowed back up, soon, Red,........tho you don't want to be flying any longer than necessary, a few short flights around for lard might be in order.
    Ta-Ta for now!

Red do hope they are successfull for you.

Damp & miserable here, but have just had to have the car serviced & MOT today, so another expense, seems nothing but paying out at the moment.

Sarge.... Your not going to like me much...... But I had to come in and shout about a sale I just had..... I started the listing at £10 and after two bidders had a battle royal over it, it sold for £26.60

Corporal Somerset I would take that medication you are on straight back to the doctors. You know full well that bidding wars never happen here, in fact nothing ever sells on an alternative site as our glorious motto states ! Shakes head sadly ... Corporal Somerset must be more ill than we thought !
Goes off to the mess to ponder if she should issue him with a new piece of kit ?!!!

Well I am back in my hanger having been well and truly "worked on". I feel like I have had a really good kicking, but fingers crossed. I do have a good moan now and then but I must say the mechanics at Churchill Hospital are some of the very best I have had the "pleasure" of being sorted by.With your permission Sarge, I would appreciate being put on very light duties as I am still on aviation pills.
