I could really use some help promoting ebid

Hello Madeleine,

my flickr ID has been deleted without any warning, (my ID was blatant ebid advertising - I expect someone from the darkside took a dislike to it). So I can't post or admin any of the groups. Let me know if you want me to be an admin, and I will set up a new account.

For any doubters - Flickr is more than just a photo hosting site, it is a great way of 'spreading the word' of any cause you are involved in due to the nature of discussion groups and photo pools that are set up over there.

Also the ability to comment on other peoples (i.e. anybody and everybody's) photos means you can get the name ebid.net bandied about the place.

I wondered where you had gone! Well, in your absence, I've altered the rules of the ebid group because a seller from the darkside kept posting pictures with links to her listings there. The group is a little larger and has more pics. I've joined a number of other groups and posted pics, so that my id is scattered around the site a bit.

It would be good if you joined and posted some pics and threads

hi madelaine. there's probably quite a lot of ebid promoting going on out there i have the youtube group and i keep tabs on the ebid thread on mse.com. i also set up a blog where i put lists of useful third party tools you can use on ebid. I have joined your facebook group- but i can't commit to posting there -despite good intentions, time always gets away from me! Did you see the thread NYKmedia posted the other day asking us to add our ebid related groups and sites?

yes, Val, I've posted on there. Actually the irritation that caused me to post this thread is over - a number of people joined in and the group on flickr looks a lot better now.

I would help you if i could.
However after four months of promoting the SL ebid group and mall.With the long hours and RL money it has cost me,to then be in the situation i am now.Did she walk,was she pushed or a combination of both?.
I need a break LOL.
But i will be back promoting Ebid soon.

Lottie, anyone who is already hard at work like you is excused (but I've bought an ad in Second Life) - though, when you get a break, have a look at Flickr - it's the greatest fun. There is a group for everything and anything. For example I found one for "stick figures in danger"
