Sorry to butt in but the last time I gave a guy a chance that spoke exactly as this is written, I got screwed royally, pardon the pun, and didn't even enjoy it. He actually was a chinaman. Just my 2 cents.

That's OK you can butt in not a problem,yes while I agree that it's best to be safe than sorry and I respect everyones opinions and agree with lots of them but lofty seems to have an obsession on downing this guy because he's new here,he comes from another country, he doesn't write/talk english very well, but like I said I have posted the 2 e mails I had off powersellerelite on here the only bits I edited are the URL's and both huddylion and myself are on their site as asked along with others so to both us all seems fine so all I'm saying is why not give the guy a chance no money or financial details have been given to them but still lofty still keeps trying to down this guy without having the chance of defending himself, he does explain things in his second e mail to me which is posted earlier up this posting.

I've just been to look at the site and can see nothing much except a lot of fancy graphics about powersellerselite presence on MySpace, Bebo etc no sign of any ebidders. What am I missing

Paully, the only obsession I have is to out potential scammers. Having being stung on this site due to the non-existant security within my building society I am reluctant to see the same potentially happen to other people. It is called once bitten, twice shy.

Where he comes from is irrelevant, whatever else you have to admit that it is a strange way to do business: spamming the boards of web-sites who you hope will be future partners.

Ken if you have a look at the logos on display you might see a couple you recognise: click on the european continent and all will be revealed.

I accepted the free space 2 days ago and nothing bad happened to my store, i'm advertised in the page i asked and everything is all right; I'm just waiting to see if my sales really rise ^^
I asked the same thing to them about the dollars instead of euros, their answer was that they think it's easier for non european stores to change the currency to dollars as it is considered the world currency.

What am I missing

Maybe you could't see the ADVERTISE page where everything is explained?

Hi Ken go to the home page you will see a large globe an oval shaped globe ( I'm doing this as I explain so I know it works) click on the globe where you see europe and that takes you to another page,scrool down you will see some Adverts for stores mine and a couple of others from e bid and below that there's loads of blue ad squares just click on a ad it will take you to the relevent store ok any problems give me a shout

Paully, I am not trying to trash anyone, as I mentioned earlier this operation may be genuine but just badly presented.

I don't have any problem with Mr Scampo's English. What I do have a problem with is the idea that somebody could join ebid purely with the idea of selling via the forums. That's spamming, and it's not a route we want to see opened up is it? If somebody registers a free account, and immediately posts about a chargeable service, it's clear surely what their purpose is?
