    Default Photographs as postcards?

Now I've got my spiffy new printer and can print photographs, I'd quite like to occasionally send them as postcards to friends (not everybody uses email, can you believe it!? ) Has anybody done this and were there any problems? They are obviously not as sturdy as cards, but do they go through the system okay?

I'm quite happy that I can write the necessary and stick a stamp on, but don't want them chewed in the sorting machine!

What about printing them onto small envelopes?

You wouldn't get the quality of print that you do on photo paper, and the back would be a bit of a pain to write on since it would have the flap and wotnot. Thanks though, all ideas gratefully received!

    I have done it.
I use 170gms photopaper, and have had no problems.
If you can get thicker paper then that would be better.

Blimey, that seems a bit over the top! Anyway I a) do not have a laminator and b) do have photo paper...

... but I'm impressed with ebidders' talent for lateral thinking!

    Cheers m'dear!
