    Default Locked out of main account, can't receive password emails, but can from forum?

    Hi,

    I have a rather pressing need.

    I have not been getting ebid mails for a long time. No worries, I come check it every other day.

    Last night I went to log in and the site would not let me proceed without entering a new email, because emails have been returned as undelieverable or something.

    I entered a new email.

    It "reset" my password (I didn't know it was going to do that ) and tried to email it to me.

    I have requested it a few times since since. No deal.

    I got my password for the forum immediately, so I am receiving ebid mails.

    I control my email server. There are no filters or virus scanners, they are off.

    Can someone in eBid send me my password email, put it back to the password I had before, or make sure send mail is sendmailing

    As of right now, an auction is running and I have NO way of getting to it.

    I mean the account I have my auction at.

    The forum account I can get emails from OK

    I just thought of it.... if I can't get emails, likely I won't get any reply

    how about setting up something like googlemail and send that that address... then when they reply you can pick it up through that

    Yes, I get copies in my MSN mail of anything here. But doesn't it seem that something is not working right with OP's account or password or something? Maybe like that last OP we had last week, had two selling accounts?

    But I did get the autoreply from support

    Another tidbit was my ISP getting errors when trying to connect... eBid kept dropping the email on the handshake for several tries.

    So eBid's seems to have the flakey mailserver

    Just an update.

    Support sent my PW again, which never arrived

    - I can get support email.
    - I can get forum email.
    - I can't get activation or password emails to get into my account.

    This is oddly fishy... is it being redirected to gods knows who?

    Dear Ebid:

    Why do you give me advice to go into my account and change my email when the point of this whole entire support exchange has been that I CAN'T LOGIN!

    YOUR system, not me, reset the password and is now not sending it to me.

    I can't receive your validation or password reminder emails, so why just keep replying to every email, "We've sent a password reminder".

    If I was not a PAID lifetime subscriber, this would almost be amusing.

    I hope you see this post, because obviously my emails are not sinking in
