Good news in here only please folks.

I'm feeling a bit fed up today and watching the news on TV has done nothing to help lift my mood, nothing but doom and gloom on it.

Except this story... "More than 100 Chinese miners were rescued today after being trapped for over a week in a flooded coalmine."

Although I feel sorry for those who didn't make it I am very happy to see how many have made it out of the mine. Can you imagine what it must have been like to be trapped for over a week in a flooded mine?

But there are going to be a lot of happy families today.

My daffodils are blooming and the lilac bush is getting buds. I got to talk with both my daughters and grandsons yesterday. I am vertical. It's all good.;

Our RNLI shop had a fantastic weekend - takings are way up because it's Easter, the holiday-makers are in the village, and the rain mostly stayed away!

My dad is recovering well from a heart operation and my sister has been down from Wales and spent the week end with us

Since I had to go to the storage locker anyway to pick something up, I bit the bullet and repacked boxes. Brought home two empty ones. Who says nothing sells here?

I always feel good when I finish a boring task. Now I can do something fun without feeling guilty.
