Mists and mellow fruitfulness and smelling the cat

Having one of my dogs bring in a toy they had left in the yard, all wiggly/waggly and so proud of themselves.

A crock of soup simmering.

Listening to Daisy snore and her feet switching when she sleeps.

Seeing the pleasure my dogs get out of life, watching them sleep.

When I'm working late at night, & see badgers, or an owl or
fox cubs playing.

The night sky, seeing Venus rising.

Feeling like I'm on holiday every time I hear a gull.
