ebid ipod app- any updates?

I planned to list a couple of items on 'the other site' at the weekend to coincide with their free listing w/e. I discovered their ipod/iphone app which allowed me to scan bar codes on books and DVDs and list them in seconds. I recall ebid mentioned an app in development back in 2010?

. I have a pile of books still to be listed on ebid but just havent had time to do photographs/descriptions etc.. If there was an ebid app with scanner i could list so much more. Is it ready yet?

Since the brief mention in a 2010 newsletter there has been no other word about it from eBid

If it takes as long to bring to fruition as the Ninja Lister and API, mobile phones will be a thing of the past before it appears. We will all be communicating by telepathy by then.
