Question Creating a store - Is there a preview facility?

When creating a new store, do you have to switch it online, save settings and then click the 'eBid Store Link' in order to preview the way it looks, then switch it offline and save again if you then go and work on such things as categories and descriptive text etc (assuming you don't want an incomplete store front up live in the mean time)?

Have I missed a preview button somewhere that shows how things are looking without having to go live?

I don't think there is a preview, now you ask, but I wouldn't worry about turning it offline to amend - it's not like anybody's going to find it while it's empty.

You don't have to take a store offline to change or add anything. I twiddle with our stores a lot, and they haven't been offline since we started here.

I think you have to put at least one item in a store to get a look at it. You can then play with it until you're happy.

Like kimbo said,no one will find the store if empty and online, however as mentioned I usually add an item or 2 to get an idea to see if anything may need tweaking or ok as is,and I go from there, always leaving them online

I actually have 1 store online now with nothing in it as I am still compiling stuff to add to it,once I do that will adjust anything after a few listings if need be,all the while being online and once I am satisfied with the outcome of everything will start listing in bulk,

    Good luck to you
