Hi all, not been a good year up to now mum passed away February & Barrie Nan passed away last week. My head is done in at the moment.
I thought I would catch up with folks, life is so short sometimes, I am so greatful to be able to sound off to my ebid buddies thank you all xxxx

Sal brought up Buddy Rich earlier today so I was looking through some older videos of drummers. Then I started looking at some of the early, early Jazz / Big Band drummers.
Now you probably all know John Bonham is my favorite drummer of all time with a very unique playing style. Watching some of the videos I watched today I noticed several similarities in Bonham and other drummers from the Big Band / Jazz Era's.
I saw one drummer with his foot going crazy on the Hi Hat (just like Bonham) I saw another with the same beat as Bonham's Moby Dick drum solo, I saw another using his right foot and one hand to create a tom tom bass drum-drum roll then When I saw the video with Bellson using 4 sticks (Bonham used 4 sticks in the Led Zeppelin song Four Sticks) I just about fell over.

Moni, you are quite right - life really is so short sometimes.
We are all here for you pet whenever you need to sound off, or just to have a comforting hug from your eBid pals.
I have realised what lovely, lovely genuine people there are here in the forums, who really do care for each other.
I have received so much help from my eBid pals, as I lost my daddy a year and a half ago, and my mum has advanced Dementia, Alzheimer's.
My dear friends here have helped me to get through, and we will always be here for you too.
