    Default Site Downtime Notifications

Giving us notice of site downtime was a much needed improvement. However, when there's less than 6½ hours notice given it makes it a bit pointless; particularly when those 6½ hours are in the middle of the night for most of us.

It is 8pm here Aussie time - been waiting for site to come up for 4 hours. Hope it does soon so I can get some work done.

There is now a mini-mall all of its own with several different departments from you to browse through and choose the items you would like to purchase.

I'm searching for a knitting pattern. Google tells me there is one on eBid. What happens? Site is down for upgrade.

Yes, I know it has to be done. But Saturday morning????? Rather like road repairs in rush hour

Anybody any idea when the site will be up again. Got stuff to list and for once after a Friday night out I am fit and raring to go.

On these occasions ebid time resembles "African time" - and a warning which allowed my to download my listings would have been appreciated - I suspect that these sessions may be responsible for the missing listings thing.
