Thread: Grrrrrrr dam banks

  1. #1

    Default Grrrrrrr dam banks

What right have they got to just change you credit card to another supplier without your permission, I am fuming the RBS has sent me a letter saying they are changing my visa to a master card....... I don't want a master card if I did I would have applied for one in the first place, and after the rip off interest rate they have charged my husband through Halifax doing this I don't want anything to do with them, I am already annoyed at being sold like a slave to santander. Has anyone here got a post office or Barclays account..........are they any good or?

When I lived in the UK I had a bank account with the Co-operative Society and I found them to be very good.

OH has had a Barclays account for 50 odd years, which doesn't mean that there wouldn't be any problems. I am with First direct and have found them very good.

Wow, Buttons, that stinks. Hope you get this sorted soon.

Don't want to give my opinion of banks here, it might just get me in trouble...

Best wishes for many sales to all,

I'm not sure they are allowed to do that although it's probably in the tiniest of prints somewhere that they can! I've been with Barclays since I left school and have never had any problems with them.
Nutty by name, nutty by nature.

I have heard that Co-op are pretty good, I am with Nationwide and have had no problems in 30 odd years.

They are expanding into the energy supply market as well.

I wonder how I stand... Lloyds bought out Scottish Widows, and now Co-Op have bought out Lloyds. Does that mean the Co-Op now hold my life policy?
