Thread: Relisting unsold items

  1. #1

    Question Relisting unsold items

Is there any way to see if I have reposted items from my list of unsold items? More than once I have relisted items twice, including today. The only way to do it as far as I can work out to keep switching between the unsold and running lists, checking each item. There has to be an easier way. Help, please.

PS - Trying create links to my stores, other than the way you see them below, is also proving difficult. You can tell I am new here!

Hi Maurice, I just relist from the emails which eBid sends when an item closes - but that isn't often as my items are on 10 auto reposts which I keep an eye on.

I've redone your links - maybe copy & paste them?

As I don't get those emails, I just click the My eBid tab at the top of the page, then look on the left for Trading....click on the Items I Ran / No Sales, and then go in and click BOTH the DELETE and the RELIST for any item you want to relist. The delete deletes the old one and old number, and the relist does just that, with a new item number.

As cheaver suggests, make sure your listings are put on for X number of days, plus the 10 auto reposts!

I put a couple of your postcards on pinterest just for fun - hope it helps give you more exposure!

Thank you all for your replies. The links have been copied and pasted as suggested. I will play with the DELETE and REPOST buttons and tidy things up a bit, I hope. Thanks again for the help.

    You are welcome
I meant to copy & paste the links into your signature....
you don't have any links to your goodies now in your signature & that's a shame.

The only way I found to check for duplicates was to go to Sort (top of your listings page)
Click on title low to high then scroll through each page, any duplicates would be easily found.

Could you do the same for my shop signatures

If you reload from a spreadsheet, there is an option to delete current auctions before loading the file.
I think this is supposed to deal with duplicates.

I also use a CONDITIONAL FORMAT on my Ebidloader spreadsheet. The condition is: =COUNTIF(E:E,Exxx)>1, and if true the format is set to red highlight.

The conditional format means that if any item in column E, the Description, occurs more than once, it gets highlighted in red. So I detect and deal with duplicates before listing
