A question about my first listing ...

After splashing out £50 for "Zero Listing Fees * Zero Final Value Fees" my first listing tells me I'm going to pay 2% if I use the Gallery option.

I switched to the free option instead, listed my item and now don't have a thumbnail piccy. What is this madness? I don't understand!

Am I being a spaz? Am I paying fees or not? Should I get a free toenail piccy?

Can anybody stop the stream of tears dancing over my keyboard?

Your advice would be welcomed.

you have to enable the gallery/thumbnail pic at the time of listing on the listing form otherwise your listing will appear on searches without the gallery pic, the pic its self will be seen when the viewer clicks on the listing . the 2% is only payable when the listing sells .

If you edit your listing - go to Section 4 on the listing form - change from Free to Gallery >> save changes.



Edit: When you edit your listing, how about filling in the Items Specific section
as well? Model Number and Brand....
That would be good - 'cos then your item will be uploaded to Google Shopping
where most Buyers come from.... (great stuff!).
Also, RUS (Run Until Sold) items stay at bottom of viewing stack -
better to list for 7 or 10 days with 10 auto reposts - then your item will keep
moving to the top of the viewing lists... nice one!

I think running 'til sold is OK if there's a small number of G-Shock watches on sale here. What do you think?

your right if the cat you list in is under populated , cheavers advise is good in all other circumstances, some folk have other reasons to list as run until sold , its also a good idea to log in regular, buyers can see when you last logged in, check your dash board when you log in.

2% FVF if you choose Gallery option (with a thumbnail)..... the choice is yours.

RUS I agree with you - for the G-Shock watch - just didn't want you to fall into listing everything as RUS ...

Item Specifics - go to listing form > Section 1 > 3rd item down = Quantity - look to the right of that

just had a thought, R U S do items stay on google shopping for ever, till sold, will they gradually go down the page on R U S ?, when my items finished on a ten day cycle then were reposted they would go back roughly were they were on GS.
