Sad news about meebo1

Just logged in and read the sad news of Meebo's passing, always read her posts, and though she mentioned her treatments did not realise it was advanced.

Meebo didn't complain. She would turn up around 9am and apologise for being late due to be being tired and that was all she really said about being unwell.

I am happy to have a moan though. On the afternoon that Meebo died I was complaining to my Billy about my sore toes!! I am a terribly grumpy patient

I am shocked and sad. I, like many of you i never met Meebo in person, but I purchased several of her auctions through the YDC. I have one of her chickens on my desk. I shall miss her. My condolences to her family and friends, she was a special lady.

Our lovely, gentle, kind, generous, loving Margarete is gone. She was a true angel in life, and now joins the angels in heaven. I loved Margarete very much for her compassion and friendliness toward myself and others, another good soul gone, but never forgotten. My deepest condolences to all her loved ones, family and friends. Rest In Peace dear Margarete, we all loved you and will miss you sorely!

How utterly sad for us all. I trust there are many Celestial Gongs for Meebo - a kind, and stalwart friend and generous soul.
Condolences to her family, who will also miss the many wonderful aspects of Margarete that we never knew.

I am saddened to hear this news. But I do feel an intense sense of peace knowing that Meebo is at peace. The opening post by Cornishmaid speaks of her peace. Sincere condolences to her family in the loss of their loved one.

What a loss to us all. I feel so blessed to have met her in person. She was just as sweet and kind as she was on-line.

The feature charity for YDC 176 (May 24-28) will be The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in her memory.
