adding multiple photos -- Can't be this hard! What am I missing?

In Section 1 I first have to add a slot, then select the pic for it. Only then can I add a slot #2, add the pic for it. And so on, etc. etc. This is clumsy and tedious enough. But afaics the job isn't done. If I don't go into Section 4 and click on payment for additional photos, they are not saved in the Default. And the procedure is just as in Section 1. One photo at a time! Compound tedium. That can't be right!? I tried going to Section 4 first, but seems I need both to get it saved. What am I missing?

To add multiple photos in your listings :

In the photo section of the listing : Click on the blue CHOOSE PHOTOS




This will bring up this form




Then "drag" your photo to this new form.
When done, click on START UPLOAD




You will get a listing of pictures and choose which pictures you want for the listing
Then click USE SELECTED PHOTOS




If you want to select several product pictures, you can do this and then they have been uploaded.
I only use the pictures per listing. I made a big mess when I loaded all the items for one category and had to scroll through the pictures to select for each listing.
