    Smile Hi Everyone

I am a new member of Ebid. I came to this site after leaving Ebay. I am looking forward to meeting new people and selling my antiques.
Thanks so much Ebid for a great alternative to ebay.

Welcome Mrs Jay, hope you enjoy Ebid and have lots of sales here. I always tend to buy more than I sell [even on the other side]...lol..but, that's fun too..

    Default hi everyone

just joined after i found you on the search engine, i have been selling on ebay for a few years but have been put off over the last few years with there attitude and rising costs
i am based in london, where i have run an electrical business for 38 years, i have olive groves in cyprus and an olive and citrus grove in Turkey, so i naturally also import and sell my own produce from my shop as well as on the internet and at some food markets in london
i also offer holidays on my farm in turkey, my olive oil has recieved many write ups in the new york magazine as well as the times online etc
i now also produce and import my own olives, sweet paprika, extra virgin olive oil and infused olive oils, preserved lemons to name but a few, you are welcome to visit my website www.planetmem.com for more imformation or for the links to the write ups as well as a film clip on you tube about my olive oil
i will gradually list most of my products on ebid, but if there is any way that i give any advice please do not hesitate to contact me
    regards mem

    Default Welcome to New Members

    Hello!

I'm Ed. I'm in Kansas City. I was an occasional seller of various collectibles on "that other site" and had been idle for a wee bit during which this strange full moon settled over it. I have nothing up yet, but soon will. Hopefully I'll keep it interesting. I'm also checking out alternatives to PayPal, who froze my account 5 years ago.

    Cheers,
    Ed

    Hello Everyone,

I am Shalini and I joined ebid recently. Another refugee from the other side. We (my husband Dave and I) tried it for a year, sold some stuff yes but I think we were paying for the privilege big time. I am sure they made more out of us than we did out of having a shop there. The fees were just getting stupid. I am sick and tired of making money for other people, if its not the bank then its the Tax man or the VAT man and now the Feebay Man as well!

Looking forward to having better luck here. The one thing that has impressed me about Ebid so far is how friendly this place is - a proper forum to talk to people is brilliant!
