Thank you For The Warm Welcome and most helpful advise. I made my first purchase at eBid and the seller seemed to be very nice and helpful. It was made very easy for me to purchase several items from the same person and I felt right at home with the transaction since the seller accepted PayPal. where do i begin...i have signed up and want to begin posting ALL my items.
is there a bulk uploader? can i transfer my items from another site here? is there good traffic for selling?

Hi to all once again! Sorry i didn't mean to ignore anyone and all of your welcome's! Thank-you all for being so kind! Kengillam, i am really computer illiterate and it's going to take me some time to figure out how to do the banners and all. Heck-i did well just getting the picture on my profile! Lol i am starting to feel a little more comfortable now. I will try to check in a little more often. Can't figure out if it's me or my computer, or the ebid site or ebay site but i have had my hands full trying to transfer listings. Won't let me copy and paste??? Went well at first and now all of a sudden-won't work??? Lost again!!! Lol i'll get it. Thanks again for the advce and the welcome!

Welcome, dana. have a look at the thread that Ken mentioned a bit earlier (#6006) Some of the answer might be there. Transferring from somewhere else is a copy and paste job. For starters the categories will probably not be the same. I believe there is a spreadsheet you can use for bulk uploading. (never used it) Traffic is picking up, but you can't compare it with another site

I was fustrated by the big E today and dicided to google for a new auction site. I found eBid and it looked interesting. I do not know if it is right for me or I am right for it since I have not started to list items as of yet. Mostly I sell DVD's, CD's, Some Books, Video Games, and odd & ends.
