I may be new to eBid, but I'd like you all to take a look under the "Wanted" items in "Antiques" & "Other" and look what Mr. Paul Stanley is asking for. Kind of puts a damper on my descision whether or not to list with eBid. I don't think there should be any place here for this kind of advertisement. The poor guy might be a little "late" with his search. What do you think? Am I just being old fashioned? I really wanted to sell antiques and vintageware here at reasonable prices, but I certainly don't want to be stacked up against him - sort of speaking. Looked everywhere to send a complaint and cannot find a place. Bye for now ---

He may have put the search in the wrong category, as I can't imagine anything like that as an antique. probably should be in the adult section

It means the user's account is on hold or suspended. This can be a temporary thing or, in the case of serious problems, a permanent thing.

For some examples of what can give rise to this see the Help files provided: http://uk.ebid.net/help_selling.php#30 , http://uk.ebid.net/help_register.php#13 and also my take: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/astral....icks.htm#a0003

You should have the seller's details from the After Auction Log from the sale. Have you communicated with the seller to find out what their intentions are regarding the situation and the transaction?

    Default Hi All

I just read about eBid this morning and went through the sign up process so that I can list my items.

Before I do please allow me a question in regards to currencies

How can one change the currencies into - let say us$ if I offer an ebook on learing french or spanish
As I live here in melbourne I can only list in AU$ - however my listings are worldwide

I also like to offer some information on "How to send the Banks to Hell! and loving it." This is actually a business offer - recession proof. But people would need to link into a special website link. Can I advertise the link directly ( can either link onto my website or directly to the publisher)

Just like to make sure I am not falling into the bad books with my first advertisement

    Welcome to eBid Iricangi!
Firstly, ecommerce links are not allowed on listings, about me page and the forums. Secondly, ebooks are not allowed on eBid either. Thirdly, if you are shipping worldwide, then the buyer will see his/her currency next to your own currency. Other than that, I wish you every success on eBid!
