I think a campaign advertising for buyers would be a serious waste of money.

    Thats just my opinion though

btw i answered u cuz button has gone to bed... and dont ask my how i know that lol, night all
    I got up again Pete

Check out the thread posted by kazoom about squidoo. http://www.squidoo.com/auction_site_like_ebay/

Ebidders can also join Pheebay's Summer Solstice promotion to promote their own store and promote Ebid at the same time.

    Hi nyk,
With regards to the fundraising event, I'm assuming you are talking about the YDC auctions. Could a leaflet possibly be generated for distribution to charity shops all across the country publicizing the YDC or all charity auctions on Ebid?

Another idea - any songwriters around here to write an Ebid theme tune or song? Then record it and distribute it as a music video on You Tube? Or even better, if anyone knows a celebrity singer to sing it!!

I ALWAYS look here first though.

If G&M did a massive advertising campaign right now, new potential buyers would log on, look around... some might find what they want, but a lot wont and once they think there is a limited selection of stuff here the chances of them coming back are VERY slim..... now if there was a huge selection of items at good prices they would log on... be impressed and stay.. thats what ebid needs.
SO if your a seller CAN yoo honestly Say I PUT ALL MY BEST STUFF on EBID?

I did not and still don't But I have a problem with vintage watches.......Sometimes I'm just Not sure How much they are worth so If I put them on Auction on Ebid They go at whatever price I put them on at BUT if I put them on Feebay at the same price then theres a Much better chance it could get 4-5 bids pushing the price up......(And the FEES!) But I am still learning and IF by chance I got a similar watch then I would list it on EBID as I know how much to expect for it....And YES I would do a search of Feebay for an Idea of the price first....

SO the conclusion is I DON'T ALways put my Best stuff on here...

    Think its called Catch 22.

There as if we had more Buyers I would not hesitate to List on here first!

PS WHATS HAPPENED TO the G&M Merchandise?? The car Stickers the Keyrings the Pens (always a good one that!).

How about this for an idea, can we all think of what we have bought in the last year, and I mean everything, then search for it on eBid and see if (1) we can find it (2) is it reasonably priced. That may give us an indication as to whether the buyers experience is looking attractive.

Hi Red.......YES, I can honestly say that!

Since going Platinum I have closed my Ebay shop to make EBID my main concern....which is why I am 'keen' to get Ebid noticed......
