It was a lot of fun and a great success, with everyone who attended winning a L$ Prize. (Nosty, I'm sending you some L$ for attending, as it didn't seem right that you crashed at that point).

Yes a thanks from me too for all of the support and I enjoyed testing the boards and the patience from everyone else while I learned how to set them up.

Sorry I missed the test comps, I've got to get RL better organised. Not surprised Nosty crashed, though. There seems to be an unwritten rule that he can't EVER win any eBid related contest.

I've built another place nearby too, on land called 'Haven' (selling Surveillance Gadgets etc). A young lady has some very elegant and stylish clothes for sale, that she has made on the second floor of the 'Haven' Store, so hopefully that will bump up traffic even more.

Work started last night on the 'Garden' section too, so always lots to do on there!

Well, tried a few of my usual suspects....with no success!

Yikes.....had to call the Linden help desk in the US...

Just going through all the security questions with a lovely lad called Chris.....when he asked......."where's your accent from"???

Turns out, that when you call the US.....calls are re-routed back to the UK.....to Gateshead about 5 miles from me pmsl.......ya couldn't make it up lol

So, I seized the moment.....told him all about ebid & the ebid project on SL. Chris reckons he'll spread the word through the call centre.

I need information for Flickr so that I can tell people (on one of the Second life groups) how to get to Manderley ("Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley...). I've uploaded the pictures in anticipation but need more information before there is any point adding them to groups.

Actually, it would be a good idea if that information was on here anyway.
