Thread: Sign of Spring

The magpies will be looking for bugs that frequent doo-dahs, hence the behaviour. A couple of years ago we had collared doves in next doors guttering right outside my bedroom, raised two chicks successfully, but a bit of an exposed location and they've not used it since.

Had a Dunnock ripping moss and grass from my lawn at lunchtime, to line her nest I'll post a picture later.

Bringing up the subject of spring........

Any gardeners out there tell me what I should start off indoors now?

I bought lots and lots of seeds - all I need to know is when to start them off.
Was just gonna stick to peppers, chillies, and runner beans from last years seeds, as those are what I have most success with, but Ive also bought carrots, leeks, mangetout, broccoli, onions and tomatoes, and various salad green leaves.

Is it too early to start them off indoors?
