Good Morning - thanks for the sunshine Kayla, much needed. It's cold, dark and wet here, hope it clears up later.
I haven't started editing my stuff yet, I don't really know what to do with regards to up-pricing the postage. Most things won't be worth it.sigh.

    Hi Trish and Meebo
    i am still editing mine
ive decided to reduce all my prices at the same time as i have so much stock to sell i dont know what to do with it all !!! .I am also removing the overseas postage option as i cant see anyone will be willing to pay the new rates, as it by far outwieghs the price of the item. I also dont get this world zone 1 and 2 prices thingy lol
ohwell only about another 550 listings to go ! what a pain

Good morning all - bright, breezy and showery here, definitely not a bike day.

I've been altering my overseas postage and deleted it from a good few items too, some of the new rates are daylight robbery!

Hi Meebo, Kayla and Suca, oh, isn't it awful - I just don't know what to do with mine.
At the moment I'm like an ostrich with my head buried, trying to pretend that everything will sort itself out and go away!
I think I may well shut up the shops while I decide what to do.
I think I might just make a start with the easy ones - letter post, not packages.
Shall we all have a nice pot of tea to cheer us all up?

    I'll share my muffins too!

Tea sounds great, and a muffin maybe?
I do continue to offer international posting, though I doubt that there will be many sales that way. But let's face it: if it is something someone really wants, they are prepared to pay what it takes. I have had quite a few sales the last couple of weeks and there is actually some space on my shelves!!! I think people are wanting to avoid the price rise. I intend to go through my watch list this week and probably make a purchase or two - that'll soon fill the space

    Good morning everyone.

Here is some afternoon tea for those who are still working on the dreaded postage updates. We'll at least be full of delicious things especially after the muffins in the morning.

    Trish, Suca, Meebo

Why not leave your items available to International buyers. You would be surprised at what folks will pay for shipping as long as you keep it real. I have had $20 items with $45 International shipping costs and the buyers were very happy so dont give up on it.
It also makes it look like ebid has more items available around the world. Let the buyers decide if its worth it to them.

Similar figures everyday in the forums....at least five times more guests then members viewing. Why doesnt everybody use the plug your auctions facility to capture these guests.

Not to plug our own auctions but to plug eBid itself.

We now see a few plugs scattered within the other forum posts but plug after plug from members informing guests of the advantages of eBid might just do some good.
We can still alternate plugging our own but if we get guests just to use eBids search engines for what they are looking for we might not need individual plugs.
    Comments, ideas?

Is my plug what you have in mind??? Great idea. I've done it for YDC, but why not do a general plug from time to time?? What helps one, helps another!.
    Ta-Ta for now!
