I tweet our items and have put a few on my Face book page, I get the views on Ebid but very few actually then make a purchase.
Does anyone here find that Tweeting products helps their sales?

I get the views from tweets. I may try to get them on face book. I know that when I list on the river and I face book the items i get a small increase in sales.
I think that people who dont sell on Ebid are less likely to buy on ebid.
I think that the paint sales that we get come from google searches, and the last sale we had I came in just after I had asked for advice on here.
More needs to be dones as a whole to get Ebid out there.
Maybe, just maybe. Check out this topic peeps! :-)

I am one of those old fuddy duddies that think facebook and twitter are an accident waiting to happen.
Have met numerous youngsters who have applied for jobs and been rejected.WHY?
Human recources actually do read your page,And they wonder why no job.
Government agencies are watching your page, scammers spammers and everyone who wants to make a quick buck is watching your facebook and twitter page.
Companies watch!
Facebook sell your details because you agreed and didn't read the small print before the agree click, facebook own all the copyright on anything you have posted including photos.
Be safe delte your facebook page soon or regret forever.
Regards Phil
We understand what you mean but having seen Facebook valued at $104bn during flotations in recent stock markets, I have major doubts of this being a Mickey Mouse accident waiting to happen. It's just the way of the world and of course transmission of data on the internet is never guaranteed, just as it probably wasn't walking round the high street ten years ago and getting robbed. Personal Facebook / Twitter accounts may hinder job prospects but some on here are published as a businesses and aim to promote as such. Social Networking will only get bigger, now is not a time to back away but to not have a choice other than opt in. Lisa x

Maybe those youngsters who are looking for jobs are shown for what they are when they publish their lives on Facebook.
I don't post anything on Facebook I wouldn't want the world to know.
