Raining here. My daughter said denver has had 4 days of record breking/matching heat.....up to 104*........doesn't help the fire situation.

Hi everyone, it's been a really lovely day here.
I decided to light up the barby, couldn't bear to be indoors on such a gorgeous day.
I prepared a bowl of salad, cooked some jacket spuds and garlic bread in the oven, grilled all the meats outdoors.
.... there is so much left, I forgot there were only three of us dining tonight ... doh!
Never mind, now't gets wasted in this house, it will be devoured either by the dogs or by the plague of Locusts on legs ... (my OH!) ... hee-hee!

Hey Ruca is it hot where you are? LOL! It is hot here, HM is right and it looks like we are going to do it again this week. We got a spot of rain Sunday night, but I called my friend a mile away and he didn't get any. There was enough to get my deck wet. I forgot to look at the pickup. Up until Sunday we have not had a rain that got my pickup entirely wet. Got the hood and roof wet, not the door. I have given up at staring at the clouds and daring them to get me soaking wet.

We sent 2 C-130's to the big fire in Colorado yesterday. We are one of 4 states that has planes capable of releasing a big payload of fire retardant. The news said today 250 homes have been destroyed. Smoking is prohibited except in vehicles and buildings, no parking except in designated areas and no campfires, BBQ's etc. The ads for fireworks stores are on TV and I feel sorry for those guys, bet their sales won't be very good this year. Red flag warnings today until tomorrow evening.

I have so much good news, don't I? S&O don't even want to go outside anymore today.
