I have to say a while back I sold a full (old) stamp album for about Ģ100, so stamps certainly do sell.
This month I have had about 50 sales this far, best yet, so am not complaining there, (not of stamps, but of other bits and peices),

Stamp buyers tend to buy multiple items and will go to a seller who has a number of items they want so list, list and list again!
I sell far more knitting patterns than I do stamps. Could this be something to do with having over 1000 knitting patterns and only around 200 stamps listed?
Madelaine

I have been here 2 years (and 4 days). It took about a year before I started to get decent sales and I started with about 1300 listings and managed 5 sales in my first month, a very low return. It is slower on eBid, but improving all the time. You could possibly use more keywords, so '1800's Fancy Cancel Lot of 10' might get more attention as '1800's Fancy Cancel Lot of 10 USA Stamps', maybe adding the President represented on them if appropriate.
You also have no feedback yet on eBid. I did not import feedback as I personally prefer feedback to represent my trading on this platform. You will get feedback as a seller, but maybe a few low priced purchases could get you some feedback to boost your profile a little.
As has been stated the more you list the more visitors you will get to your stores, they may not buy what they came to see but the more choiuce the more likely that they will find something they like.
Hope you get that elusive first sale pretty soon, let us know on the forums when you do.

Best prices on designer and branded goods in all five stores.
As others have said... list, list then list some more... the more you have the more chances of selling... when I list my stamps, as I am mainly a postcard seller stamps are second bow items and only get listed when I am sick of the sight of postcards, I tend to sell 20 or 30 in one hit to buyers. Also at the moment I am in the middle of selling 50+ postcards to one buyer, so the sales are there.... it just takes time to get known
Yep list list list. I am in the process of listing thousands of baseball cards....
not in this lifetime I fear.... not even too sure about the next one either.... I can keep generations going with my unlisted stock... not that it will stop me buying more lol
Pam has just informed me that she found a banana box full of neatly stacked spots cards... must be another 5,000 cards in there
