Done anything unusual today?

Even for me smuggling an old lady from Kings Lynn into Albania is unusual.

We were taking a day trip on a coach from Montenegro across into Albania to explore some castle ruins, and she couldn't find her passport when we got to the border, so we hid her in the toliet.

I a tried to tell you! My Eeenglish is not good. I say to you " I no have ze customs pass for ze port." I Bought zese bottles for Christmas festivals. You bundled me into ze toiletten but I did not want to go. I did not want to go Albania. Like so often I do not want to cross ze roads.

Italian immigration is my least favourite. Too many peaked caps and too little action.

Although Hurghada, where they said this is not your photograph on your passport and pointed a gun with one hand and open palm for a bribe with the other was tricky. I think that line was well rehearsed.

You are more intrepid than I! The nearest I've got to being asked fora bribe was being stuck on a bus on the Mexico/Belize border while the Mexicans tried in vain to extract a bribe from an American student. He was traveling with a friend and they had spent his money first so he had nothing to give them!!!
