Fixed Price Box is checked but is Greyed out in Listing Edit Section 3

This topic was posted by another member, but the solution did not work for me.

As part of the effort to get my feet wet and to find my way around in eBid selling, I created a valid listing yesterday but it would only allow me to list as a fixed price. I wanted to change it to auction style but in section 3, the box for Fixed Price is checked and greyed out so cannot be un-checked.

Perhaps someone would be so kind as to tell me how this can be fixed.

I created a screen shot of section 3 and have attached it.

If you have Run Until Sold selected in Section 2 of the listing form then you cannot have an auction - it would never end.

Great and thanks for the prompt reply. It is part of my learning experience. The listing is my first, but the more items I list the easier it will become. eBay was tough at first too, but I plan on abandoning them for the most part anyway. They keep changing the rules of the game and they a only in business to make money and collect their bonuses. They love sellers who sell a thousand pieces of cheap junk from you know where every month.

Does anyone have crib sheet for eBid listing creation?

Thanks astral (Mel). A Crib Sheet is a term from my school exam days; what you posted is exactly what I need. Someone put a lot of effort into it. I have it bookmarked and will most likely use it a lot in the early days of my selling with eBid.
