Default Turbo Lister, I found 9370 listings containing those two words.

I was browsing listings and at the end of a listing were the words powered by eBay Turbo Lister (linked to eBay)

I decided to see how many more listing used that phrase, I found 9370 listings!!!
One enterprising seller had changed it to eBid Turbo Lister!! (Which linked to eBid.com).

You need to do an advanced search for Turbo Lister clicking the 'Search Descriptions' button.

I thought eBay links were removed by admin?

    Also

There are 110.831 listings with the word eBay in them! (not necessaraliy links)
There are 2,569 listings with the word Amazon in them.
There are 1,431 listings with both eBay and Amazon mentioned. including Amazon.com Return Policy!

A lot of it looks like it's down to copy and paste from the sellers listings on other sites or just a straight import into Ninja Lister with no description editing.

This could have the effect of moving potential buyers to the other listings.

Just did the same search for etsy, there are 149 listings, including direct links to etsy.

There used to be little to no enforcement of the no e-commerce links rule, even when infringements were brought to admin's attention by users.

A recent update was made to break such links (only eBay ones I believe), but only on new listings or those undergoing edit. That means that links in listings posted before the update will not be touched until the listing is edited or closed and reposted. Auto Repost and Run Until Sold listings will not have such links broken.

so what's the point of having the 'rule' if there is no mechanism for enforcement? Leads to more questions I'm too tired to ask.

There is now some enforcement (as per my previous post). How responsive admin now is to actioning user reports I don't know; I gave up reporting them as I found it a waste of my time. That was before the update, things may have changed; I wouldn't bet my life on it though (maybe other people's).

eBid could do a global edit of the listings database to break links. Given what happened the last time they did a global edit though.. I would rather live with the links.

    Why, what happened?
