Finding a post box getting more difficult

Most of the Post Boxes in my area have been changed to latest collection 7.00am instead of 5.30pm.

I have to walk a lot further to post my Ebid things now, but since my GP and physiotherapist have told me to walk more, I shouldn't complain!

That has happened to my local postbox as well in the last week or so.

But as the postman isn't around this area at 7am, I'd hazard a guess that the collection is still around 10.30-11am. I can't see the local Sorting Office sending out a van to do a 7am collection when all the posties are out on their rounds.

Another reason to use myHermes - I can drop the parcels off at the Parcel Shop [our local filling station] up until 11pm and they go out the next morning.

I am in Central London and my local postbox has changed to collections on Wednesday and Saturday! I haven't seen any notices around to say when or why this has happened.

I have recently made complaints to Royal Mail who are delivering mail to me which is for someone else at a completely different address!

My local post box collection (150 yards down the road) changed to a 9am daily collection a few weeks ago. Our post normally gets delivered around 12 noon/1pm being rural but if the postie is on holiday it can be as early as 11am!

I put the business post (not eBid) in the box too and have found it's been delivered the next day even though it wasn't meant to be collected until 9am that day. Something weird going on with these changes to post box collections.

Cltheroe Main Post Office Was Down Graded To Sub Post Office About 6 Years Ago.(Population About 9000)But About 1200 House Being Built.
No Other Post Offices In Clitheoe.
So If The Post Office Is Particurarly Busy.
People In Cars Go To A Small Sub-Post Office In The Beautiful Village of Waddington About 2 Miles Away.
