Contacting HSBC - without telephone PIN & online password

Does anyone know how I can contact HSBC about a faulty Secure Key Pad when

a) I don't have a telephone PIN

and

b) I don't have an online password to use instead of the secure key pad.

Been going round in circles trying to sort this out and I need to track a refund.

The number I have for them (Internet Banking Services) is 0845 600 2290 or go into the Branch. Hope you get it sorted quick.

Edit: BTW number whilst abroad is: (+44) 1226 261 226

edit again: re phoning them - as far as I remember, you'll have to set up your telephone PIN first, then call them again using it to sort out the faulty key pad and set up your online password which you can use to check your a/c without using the key pad. (a/c activity restricted using method without keypad).

I'm on the HSBC site (Contact & Support) ~ there's a Welcome to Live Chat button, have you tried that?

There's also "Ask Olivia" - virtual - but if you type in Secure Key Pad not working there's a guide:

Otherwise it sounds like there's no other way than to get to a branch then, sadly.
