Extra Long Bank Holiday Weekend for Post Office

I have learned today that my local Post office (which is the only one operating locally since lockdown) will be closed from Friday due to the Bank Holiday. Is this happening anywhere else?

Mine is just closed tomorrow, open again on Saturday.

Thanks Sucdot, that's interesting, but I think I read somewhere that Parcel collection is no longer operational for Saturdays, so the next collection would be Tuesday. It's unfortunate if you need to post something.

Not sure about about Saturday parcel collection, but Monday isn't a Bank holiday, post offices should be open then.

The lovely lady in my post office did say some other smaller offices were not opening on Saturday, they were making a long weekend of it....
