yes maj, I like chard but normally with the red stem, the one i am now thinking is the planter with the chard in looks like dandelion laves, i am going to make a rule not to eat anything if it's green apart from peppers, i am sure the little birds have been re planting my seeds in odd pots
and no I am not going anywhere either as these numbers are bound to go up, i just wish they would say how rampant it is in each area / town, poor Mike can now hardly walk through no exercise as he used to be out everyday.

buttons - we have an elderly friend with bad knees who has found a stationary exercise bike that helps him a lot. He can sit in his chair, and it is essentially pedals on a stand - no wheels - so you just sit anywhere and pedal. Good exercise, particularly for legs, which is so important. Maybe something like that would help.

Morning one and all. Rather dull here, but dry.

Almost ready for the weekend escape - fill fridge, put clothes in, charge Kindle, etc.. Food shop and check tyre pressures tomorrow then check the list to see what we've forgotten! As we've just discovered that he hasn't cleaned out the water system after not being used for 6 months.

Just sold the Old Sailor's pedal exerciser as he can no longer use it. He used to sit by the open back door on a sunny day to use it while watching the birds and other wildlife.

    Have all a good day.

Annie hope you can get oh to sort the water supply, & will as you say nice to have a change of scene, & be nice to see your brother as well.

Well somer did some listing yesterday am pleased to say, I have some stuff to number & scan so if stays miserable weather out there think I may be able to start scanning. if is fine really alt to carry on dealing with over grown hedge.

Think like Maj its better staying away from everyone.

Buttons hope you manage to be able to get mike to exercise a little as it will be harder when he can go out.

Good morning - a bit of sun through the clouds - and after the rain this morning. Two bunnies hopped by on the patio. Philpott is trying to snooze on the sofa, as he hasn't been sleeping well. Lots of bad dreams, I think he is worrying about things.

My almodt 5 yr old granddaughter went back to preschool yesterday. Sounds like the place is taking extrodinary measures to be safe, but I worry about that. Time will tell.

Just heard the weather forecast - heavy rain due for us

It's been a mad 15 hrs here with packing parcels, finding Customs codes for packets to the USA, and more sales.... Sorry Sarge. I will be putting a temporary Holiday Notice on later to cover next week

I need another mug of tea!

Sounds as though you may have a wet trip, hope not. Did you see last night where a camp site which is on the boarder, which means people can come to there site but only 1 field can be used as the other is in Wales.

Well somer has lost some more but we more than covered it yesterday with what we listed & somer is listing now & I will when I deal with his post.

They are saying that will be rainning by 3pm, so hope they are wrong as am sure the gardens have had enough rain.
