Fallen in love with Durham. Hardly a chain store in sight in the old town so it's all independent shops with character. Treated himself to a birthday lunch in a lovely restaurant called 'Bills' so all these newbies getting under the wire will help pay for it!

Ello troops. 'Bills' was where I went for my meal in Exeter Private Mcc2, I like their food, we have a branch here in Bath too.

Just been for my regulation short back and sides so I can see again now to carry on doing the never ending postage editing !

Hope you enjoy your visit to Alnwick My friend moved up their about 4 years ago and loves it, she tells me Barter Books is a good place to visit, I think she said it is an Old Railway Station, has a little cafe.
