Thread: Closing an eBid Store & transferring listings

Default Closing an eBid Store & transferring listings

Due to time constraints, I'm planning to close 2 of my eBid stores and just keep my main one going

What happens to the listings if you close a store? Do they just revert to being listed under your user ID? Or do they get deleted?

Or do I have to tansfer them manually first -there's about 135 - I hope not!

As far as I know if you put the stores offline your listings just stay listed under your username, they don't automatically transfer into the store that's still running.

You could download them using the 'export listings' lin, open your downloaded file in excel. Change the store ID colum to your retained store, save file as CVS - then delete the 'live' listings on teh site using the tick boxes, and upload your edited CVS file via the bulk upload system. That sounds complicated- but it's actually pretty easy and would late about 20 minutes.

TCBB promotions. One week only. Bid early to avoid disappointment

Many thanks for the info - now to find the time to get on with the change over!
