    Question Watchers

How do I know if I have any watchers on an item. My friend is watching my item, should I be able to see that I have a watcher?

    Hiya JEZZER!

Good question... I'm new to Ebid too ( moved over from Ebay just a few days ago! ) and was wondering the exact same thing, although sadly it doesn't look like there's an option where we can 'see' how many watchers we have keeping an eye on our items.

It's a handy little 'tool' to have when selling items, so if it's not available, maybe Ebid would think about incorporating it into their listings...?

    Maybe we could ask...???

What value do you think knowing how many 'watchers' you have would be? isn't that an feebay tool? I don't see what use it would be on ebid where the selling strategies are very different?

    Hi all,
I agree with Hannaholly.I do not see the value in being able to see the number of watchers on Ebid.Even on Ebay most of your watchers seem to be other sellers who sell the same thing as you keeping an eye on your auctions.I am afraid thats all i use it for on Ebay.....spying and snooping....LOL.
    Kind regards,
    Michaela.

Totally agree and with Merlin Man and Hannaholly Watchers are a wind-up as only competition watching the outcome. Serious buyers either Buy It Now straight away or will bid straight away or will email you to buy it now if they can't wait for auction end and I have feedback of over 11300 on eBay and didn't feel the need for it there even less here DON'T WANT IT THANKS

Yes, I agree it's pointless for sellers being able to see the number of watchers.

it is fun? is that a reason to request a new function?
Views ( which are different to 'watchers') are already available.

I don't worry about whether someone is watching my auction or not.

What I would appreciate is a check-box on my 'items I'm watching' page so that I can remove several items from the watch list in one hit. At the moment I can only do this one item at a time.
