No idea? do you use aol or BT isps? sometimes they 'eat' ebid newsletters!

    Hi,

I did't get the ebid Newletter either and my box is ticked! If it wasn't for my wife receiving it I would never have known, as when I open ebid it goes straight to My eBid page.

I received the newsletter - it popped into my email inbox and has done so every time one has been issued. I know that some people have problems with their isp's though and I've heard of some emails going straight into the junk folder.

    Hiya
I had checked in my junk folder first, before I put the queston on here, it must be because I am on BT then.
    Cheers

I have received every other email from ebid, but not this one, I have checked my junkmail folder and it isn't in there, I am not with BT.

Don't you get PayPal on all levels? See, perhaps all the different levels are just confusing to potential joiners?...

I'm loving it here but here's the problem I have:

If you sign up in the UK you get offered this:

    February Offer : Seller+ Lifetime 50% off. £99.99 down to £49.99.

If you sign up in the US/Canada/Australia, etc, you get this:

    February Offer : Seller+ Lifetime 50% off. $99.99 down to $49.99.

Look the same huh, great deal across the board. Well, it's not.

£49.99 in US money right now converts to $98 dollars!
$49.99 converts to £25 UK Pounds!

    http://www.xe.com/ucc/convert.cgi

Take the Irish Euro Ebid site:

    February Offer : Seller+ Lifetime 50% off. €99.99 down to €49.99

49.99 Euros converts to £37 GBP so if you're in Ireland you're paying 12-13 pounds less equivalent than someone in the UK, again, like the dollar folks, for exactly the same thing.

Now, I would have signed up like a rat out of a trap for £25.00-£37.00 but these 49.99 figures while looking alike across the board most certainly aren't.

Why is the UK paying more than everyone else? Or am I naively assuming these platforms are all linked to the same company when they're not? Either way, it's a real disparity.
