Thread: Help! I have been scammed!

  1. #1

Default Help! I have been scammed!

Hi, I bought a Fruit Machine Refill Key.

    Auction ID: 1052896443-222-1
    Seller: calps
    Sellers E-mail: calps@btinternet.com
    Sellers Address (Edited Out)

I paid the seller £6 by Paypal on the 24/5 and I have still not received the item. I have contacted the seller over 3 times, the first time he said it was returned to him and he said he sent it again and he has ignored all over emails.

    Can anyone help?

    Thank you.

PayPayl may be able to offer you compensation or a refund. If the seller says he sent an item, ask if he has got proof of postage. Other than that, all you can do is relate your experience using the rating system.

Oh, and I'd be VERY careful about publishing someone's address on a public forum as it is a violation of the data protection act and could land eBid in trouble (I'm sure our SA's will correct me if I am wrong). You've GOT to be ever so sure that you're doing the right thing when posting private information of someone. I believe the quote "can open, worms everywhere" is appropriate.

No, because this seller took over a month to send it to me and I think he was trying to scam me untill I threatened legal action.

But it's OK to use the keys to scam someone else?
