Yes I do. The spiritualists believe that ghosts are people that won't accept they are dead and can't pass over, and that the other side of life is just another dimension, a different plane.

On the night we lost our labrador, Nala, we all went out for a walk with Nero to clear our heads. Nala had this smell about her, like apricots. It always made me think of her. When we were out walking, I could distinctly smell that apricot smell. I thought of Nala of course. That night when in the bathroom getting ready for bed I smelled it again, it was overpowering. That was the last of the smell. I am sure she was just in between here and there, wherever she was going.

Maybe that sounds stupid or not, but it was definitely there just for that first night.

I believe ...I am a scientist too and very sensible and down to earth...
However one night, driving between Spanish Town and Kingston, Jamaica, Minding our own business in our little VW beetle... My ex slammed heis foot on the brake and I yelped as we appeared to hit an man who stepped out infront of the car. he appeared from nowhere. he was a black man with a creamy white top and light coloured ragged looking pants and bare footed. he had a small black and white jack Russell typ dog beside him.
We jumped out the car and there was nothing there.. The area around was savnnah type bush with the odd tree. there was nowhere he could have hidden except behind a large Quango tree. We looked all round and nothing...

Next day I told Mama dee next door about our experience and she laughed and told us it was a "Duppy"...Ghost... the tree we had looked round was one just outside Kingston where they used to hang runaway Slaves and Duppies were often seen there.

We had only just arrived on the Island to work. we knew nothing about the history of the area. both of us were sceptical about "Sightings"
I really cannot explain the fact that both my ex and I saw the same thing and it wasn't there.

The scientist in me now says " Until someone gives a rational explanation for all these odd occurrences then I have an open mind". I cannot explain this one, no trick of light... it was quite dark...we both saw a man and independently described what he was wearing and the dog...
There was nowhere he could have hidden is so short a space of time....very strange

I believe, though I have never acutally seen one. Have seen some "lights" around, but that is about it. They really fascinate me though. I like watching tv shows like "A Haunting" and "Ghost Hunters". And, I like to watch those that can talk to people that have crossed over to the "other side". It's pretty neat!

It's funny though that none of those on 'Ghost Hunters' or 'A Haunting' (or Derek Acorah and any other mediums) haven't gone to the James Randii Foundation to collect the Million dollar award for proving the supernatural.
