    Question Affiliates still running ?

Is your affiliate scheme still running ?

Do/have people made much money from it ?

Do you have to be an ebid member (seller or seller+ ) to participate ?

Hello. I just gave an affiliate progam a trial. Then found out my hotmail email address is not acceptable. I had 22,000 hits in 3 days though. Even at a cent a click it starts to add up. Use your search engine. There is quite a few affiliate programs offered. Make sure you are getting credited before going crazy on the banner links though! lol
Hard lesson just learned by me.

eBid has an affiliate programme running through www.clixgalore.co.uk You do not need to be a seller or seller+ account holder to sign up and it pays £1 per sign-up.

There used to be a google adsense referral ad which had quite generous commission. I had 35 clicks over the few months that it was running and earned $4.61. Is there going to be a new scheme set up? It probably works out better to get buddy points for sign ups than £1 through clixgalore.

Question Can you use clixGalore just for mailshots etc..??

I've looked at the clixGalore site. I had been hoping to use it primarily in mailshots, invoices, that sort of thing but I'm not convinced they will accept that? Anyone managed to sign up for that purpose ?

I just have a fledgeling website. It's more of a test area at the moment, and bit of a shambles ;-) I might find time to get on with it now I have signed up with Google checkout...

One of the motivations for trying to use it was to email past customers from "the other site" and in return offer them a discount on their 1st purchase.

I offset some of the discount & Ebid get a new member. The buyer gets a discount. Everyone wins ??
    Cheers
    Tony
