I am signing up with ebid today because I just found out about it this morning and I am so sick of Ebays garbage. I am not an Ebay throw away - my standing is good however I am sick to death of everthing being for the buyer and the seller has no choice but to bend over and take it if they want to sell.

Generally, I am not such a downer. However, I have a little bit of a chip right now.

The NPB. Is that on the other side or on here?

It's on the "other side" .. finally responded 5 days after I filed NPB and claims he contacted me for my payment address.. no record of it, though.. claimed I would not send my address to mail money order to, as he doesnt have paypal.. and yet, copy of ebay invoice (I send myself a copy of every invoice sent out) clearly has my payment address.. Hmmph!

Being the nice guy I am, I gave him choice- send payment, and I'll give it a week to get here, or agree to close the dispute by mutual consent. What sucks- if I try to reply via the dispute console, Ebay will force me to Close it one way or the other.. and he could simply stall until my time to respond runs out..

why do I have a sneaking suspicion that this guy is TRYING very hard to set me up for a Neg.? (which I wont be able to ding him back, either!!)

Oh well.. will see what he says.. but so far.. everything he's said has been complete and total B.S.

Hi Sagie welcome to eBid, OK to help you get started add a signature link to your posts so us nosey lot have an easy link to your items, assuming you're selling, whilst reading the forums, have a read of this thread http://helpdesk.ebid.net/showthread.php?t=100959 then fill in some info on Your About Me Page so people know about you as a seller. Perhaps buy a few things to kickstart your feedback over here, always looks better than a zero, ( I have some nice cheap prints ) have a look at my listings to see how I dealt with the zero feedback problem when I started.

Then email all YOUR (not Greedbay's they are a venue, they keep telling us) customers, and tell them where you are, give them a link to your listings. Grab the records while you can and from paypal records as well. That should keep you busy for a bit, and shout if you need a hand. Additional body parts incur a small fee Oh and finally read the forums there is a lot of useful information on here.
