Does anyone agree with the buyer that 3 weeks of waiting for payment and then mark him/her as NPB nd leaving negative feedback is not long enough? I did send several emails and invoices and had 1 reply to say payment was coming! Now he's given me a neg

Meebo, I would appeal that with the boys, you are not responsible for the way payment options on this site are done, they are different to poobay and the newbies must be aware of that, I would say that is really unfair.

That's bonkers. And a strange decision for a new seller to do something so silly. Who's going to buy from a seller with negative feedback (as in total score!)? Thousands of listings, no sale, and trigger happy complaint... I don't predict a glorious ebid career. This sort of thing does the site's reputation no good.

(((((((((((((( meebo)))))))))))) Three things to consider..

1) You really did the right thing.... Sellers on eBid are fair and deserve to be paid ASAP...High street stores don't put aside goods without a deposit for three weeks hoping they will be paid.

2) Don't fret......you can change your response to alert viewers of your feedback what has happened. One neg in a list of praises says that buyer to be blackballed by me.

3) This is not feebay and so you can give a deserved neg back and feel vindicated....You wil also be doing other sellers a favour by alerting them that this may be a problematic buyer.
I know we want buyers but not people who wreck auctions and think they can make up the rules to suit themselves.
